Lake aid was present in Annecy almost all summer long to offer fun holidays to underprivileged children. Here are some photos souvenir of simple, happy times:
– One day a week, 4 Annecy based children went to Menthon St Bernard, (language school E in the O, at Suzanne’s, Lake Aid volunteer) with meals, French lessons, fun in the lake, boat trips, outdoor activities.
– Holiday Camps (for children from three Congolese and Albanian families who were relocated further away and whom we do not forget): thanks to Lake Aid’s financial support, the five elders were able to participate in a camp in the south of France, while the two youngest spent the week at Suzanne’s in Menthon.
Lake aid also contributed to the participation of three other children in the Secour Populaire holiday camps.
We thank you warmly for your donations which allow us to spoil these children, most of whom are poorly housed and do not have an extended family to spend a few days with on holiday.
