Geneva Peace Week 2019

Lake Aid sends two ‘Human Books’ to Geneva Peace Week!

In 2015, Lake Aid met Manuela Frésil making a film about the homeless and asylum-seeking kids on the streets of Annecy. One of the children Manuela filmed was Burim, a 10 year old boy from Macedonia.

Today, we are proud to be one of more than 100 partners of the 2019 @GenevaPeaceWeek. Our event is A Human Library and our Human Books are Manuela and Burim.

Come and listen to their story! Please let us know if you can join us and we will organise car-sharing from Annecy.

To sign up FREE for our event at 11.15 on Tuesday 5th November: https://www.iofc.ch/building-trust-and-around-europe
