LAKE AID Seeking Fundraising Volunteer to join our team!
Lake Aid is looking for a volunteer/new board member to help develop and coordinate its fundraising activities. Lake Aid is volunteer-run and depends entirely on donations to fund its actions. We wish to increase the number of activities we organise in 2020 and will need more resources to do so. We are looking for someone local to the Annecy area to help us do this. We currently organise one or two fundraising events per year (e.g. sponsored walk, vide grenier) and have occasional partnerships with local businesses where they donate help in kind. Currently, different volunteers and members of the board look after the above on an ad hoc basis. It would be great to have a volunteer in charge of fundraising who could unify our efforts under a coherent strategy.While Lake Aid works internally mainly in English, we communicate with our partners and beneficiaries in French, so working French is a must.
